Unable to connect to some servers, amongst them Gmail.com and Igniterealtime.org.
It seems to be related to running Openfire inside a FreeBSD Jail. [strike]I'm trying to figure out a fix. I've found a patch for Openfire 3.5.1. I'm trying to figure out if anything has been changed in the patched file between then and Openfire 3.6.2.

Patch doesn't seem to have fixed it.

Suggestions are welcome.

It's probably the same issue. I'm afraid there's not much I can do about it; I've already lodged a bug report with Igniterealtime. The problem is bad programming in Openfire which prevents it from looking up SRV records when it's running inside a FreeBSD Jail.
